One of the best days of our life!! They take such good care of the elephants here and you can tell they are loved!! First we fed the elephants and bonded with them. Then we given an amazing lunch!! Finally we took these elephants to the river and were able to play with them and bathe them!! Would highly recommend!!

⠀ I had so much fun at the Elephant Pride Sanctuary. ⠀ We fed the elephants, petted them, played with them, spread mud all over their bodies and bathed with them in the river.⠀ ⠀ It was such a fantastic experience that exceed all of my expectations; if you ever visit Chiang Mai, this is the one thing you must absolutely do.⠀

An absolute dream. Chanchai and Coco introduced us to the elephant family of four, Bunchan (mama), Noni (big sis), Dumbo (little bro) and Dido (the baby, at five months). We were introduced, got to feed them snacks, walk with them into the forest a bit, take a mud bath and then wash them off in the river! The elephants are magnificent, the staff is friendly and kind to the creatures first and foremost, and wonderful guides in terms of helping us learn how to safely and kindly interact with the elephants. I have heard and seen other places with more of a commercial emphasis, less on elephant well-being, so I am so glad that these members of the Karen tribe have their outfit here. Go visit!
