Coming to Chiang Mai, my husband and I knew we wanted to play with some elephant but definitely did not want to support any kind of elephant harm for entertainment and we are so happy we found this place! It’s a well sized sanctuary tucked into the jungle so the elephant have plenty of room to roam and eat their leaves. The owner is well experienced with how to care for his little family and you can tell they have a bond. We had an amazing day filled with feeding, playing and bathing these beautiful creatures. It was one of the best days on our trip and recommend it for everyone!

If you’re looking for an amazing elephant experience from a true sanctuary – then I highly recommend this one! My family visited Thailand as part of the “Test & Go/Sandbox” program and an elephant sanctuary visit was at the top of our list. After calling multiple sanctuaries learning they were all closed due to COVID, we discovered Elephant Pride Sanctuary was open for business (this sanctuary is an independent sanctuary that owns the elephants on their land which allowed them to stay open despite COVID impact on other sanctuaries). We had the most AMAZING experience. The staff was super friendly, engaging, educational, and made you feel comfortable with the elephants throughout the entire experience. When we visited the sanctuary had 5 elephants (63 year-old grandma, 22 year-old mom, 14 year-old daughter, 4 year-old son, and 1 year-old daughter). These elephants have been passed down through multiple generations of the sanctuary’s owner. We learned not only about the elephants them...

Chanchai has guide us on his Sanctuary, which he and his family take care of. We spend the day with their family elephants and it was really one of the most exciting activities I've ever done. We feed elephants and walk with them through the Jungle. Chanchai and his family cooked us a delicious meal and explained us very interesting things about elephants. I have new a better understanding of the situation and the excellent job they are doing. Thanks for everything!! We will repeat the experience next time, for sure! 😍😍🙏
